LABORATORIO PYAM S. A. is an Argentinean company that works on the d evelopment, production, fractionation and packing of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.

It started its activities in 1991, producing compounds for the biological purification of water for human consumption and creating its own technological development and a strategy based on quality. Together with the approval of both national and foreign regulatory organizations, it immediately achieved strong international recognition for its commercial brand «PYAM», supported by an excellent performance in health institutions from Latin-American countries, which implied an important continental appreciation.

In 1998, the company built a new Pharmaceutical Plant in a modern building designed and built according to GMP regulations, taking special care of the environment. Later on, in 2001, this building was modernized following the same standards. Their Plant incorporated the production of new pharmaceutical forms under a GMP certification issued by the National Administration of Drugs, Foods and Medical Technology (Administración Nacional de Medicamentos, Alimentos y Tecnología Médica, ANMAT), and it constant optimization of products as well procedures and services.

The company activities are directed towards satisfying the needs of potential markets. With this objective, not only develops its products so as to provide cost-effective, simple and operative solutions to the private sector but also to institutions for their social assistance, sanitary and preventive programs.
